Film made under the direction of Vikas Bahl has received decent reviews from these critics with over whelming public response receiving 3.5 star rating. The film gets excellent start on the first day first show especially in multiplexes. The Dusherra festival will definitely help the film to great box office collection. It’s a romantic comedy with full on entertainment according to the analysis of the film. The Story written by Chaitally Parmar and Vikas Behl is on the way to success which is denoted in the first show itself. Screen play and dialogues penned by Avnita Dutt makes the film more beautiful and interesting for the audience. The story of the film revolves around the two insomniacs merging at destination wedding where Shahid plays the role of a wedding planner. Because of both being insomniacs makes them bring closer to each other. Alia plays the role of the sister of bride and are they made for each other? Will they be together because of the strict father of Alia? How love blossom when such two East Indian Business families get in touch and merge with each other forms the further story.
Coming on to the audience review and response, they feel that the film has monotonous story plot but appealing screen play. According to the public response, the main highlight of the film is Shahid and Alia’s peculiar chemistry on the 70 mm screen.
Secondly moving towards acting performance, the film has got something unique when Sanjay Kapoor family enters in the film. The film performance of Pankaj Kapur is amazing with great comic timing, Sanjay Kapoor makes people laugh out loud whereas Sanah Kapoor, Vikas Verma and Sushma Seth’s performance adds to beauty to the film.
Thirdly, the technical analysis states that cinematography handled by Anil Mehta and the background score with great entertaining songs by Amit Trivedi are the highlighted points attracting audience to the cinema screen.
