Band Nylon Che has received good response from critics as well as audience. This family drama has good content with superb acting and songs which makes it a must watch. The story is about a ambitious son who wants to go America to pursue his career but his parents deny him. His parents are down to earth and give more importance to their land and house in village. This causes a rift between them. Their son Devdatta (Subodh Bhave) leaves his parents (Mahesh Manjrekar, Medha Manjrekar) and goes to US. After 13 years he returns to India with his wife Anita and daughter Sara. He still thinks India is backward and people here are poor. Her daughter insists meeting her grandparents but is denied by his father. After constant obstinacy of her daughter he decides to go dapoli to take his parents home. He visits Dapoli but things haven’t changed as there’s still conflict between them and they refuse to come Mumbai. After which his old friend Ravi offers him help by suggesting him to take stand-in parents to meet Sara.
They come home and everyone is happy expect Dev as his Fake parents look like his Real Parents. The stand-in parents are quite modern who speaks English and has knowledge if 3D animation. The story unfolds more and teaches dev the family value and Director Jatin Satish Wagle has done great job to do so.

The Mahesh Manjrekar starrer has done decent business on 1st Day Box Office Colelction. The occupancy rate in morning shows was 45-55%. This family drama is facing tough competition with Natsamrat Collection. Accorrding trade expert the movie is expected to do 90 Lakhs to 1 cr collection on opening day. The 1st week total business is likely to be 3 cr- 4 cr.
