Wazir 1st Day Box office Collection of morning & afternoon shows update as per koimoi.com open decent whereas Chauranga goes slow on opening Friday 8th January 2016.
Wazir 1st Day box office collection as per experts gives an estimate of 6-7 crores whereas the other can go with a total collection of 1.5 to 3 crores.
Wazir opens at decent with 30-40% occupancy rate whereas Chauranga hardly has 15-20% occupancy because of extremely less promotion. This film can go a long way as it has already won many awards and will succeed with word of mouth.
Wazir (read review) receives mix review from critics as the story is very predictable and it won’t run a long way on box office counters. Chauranga on other side can go a long way; same like Dilwale stays backs after Bajirao Mastani. The film is released at 2400 theatres all over India and 500 outside India that is overseas market whereas the competitive film is half of this around 1200-1500 cinema theatres.
The morning show of this film states 30-40% occupancy by koimoi.com that gives a profit of 1.5-1.8 crore. As per the on-going afternoon show advance booking and counter booking gives occupancy of 50% with 2-2.3 crore estimate whereas Bookyshow booking reports states 70% occupancy in evening and night shows which can collect an approx. box office collection of 3.5 – 4 crore.
On the other side, Chauranga estimates says that film earns 0.40 lakhs in early before 12 noon shows and as per all 3 time booking it can go up to 2.5 to 3 Crore till night.
