Sony Xperia M4 Aqua Price in India, Specification, Release Date, Review
After Success of Sony Xperia Z3 and Z3 compact Sony has launched Sony Xperia M4 Aqua which is basically upgraded version of their previous phone Sony Xperia M2 Aqua. This phone comes with great design and weatherproofing feathers like Z3. M4 aqua looks good and stylish but body is made from plastic unlike Z3 and Z compact. The sides of phone has metallic look but is actually made from plastic. It has 5-inch screen size which is larger than Z3 Compact and looks similar to Z3. Because of its rounded sided it’s comfortable to hold in hands and it weighs around 136grams. The power key, volume control is on the right side of phone with a dedicated camera key. Slot of Micro SD and SIM cards are external which are protected by rubber-lined flaps.
Phone has waterproof features which works 1.5m deep in water for 30 minutes. Corrosions caused by chlorinated water are not taken in account for warranty. Unlike Z3 there are no rubber flaps for USB slots so the contacts need to be dried out up before using. Screen is 720×1280 resolutions with sharp display. Sony keeps up expectation in picture quality.
The processor of phone is Snapdragon 615 with 64-bit SoC with four cores of 1.5 GHz speed and another with 1 GHZ speed. It has 2GB RAM with 8/16 GB internal Storage and could be expanded up to 32 GB. It has 2400mAh Non-Removable Battery and Sony is claiming it could run up to 2 Days. This is of the key features of phone as Sony is backing up this feature for marketing purpose. It works on Android’s latest OS Lollipop which comes preloaded to it.
Primary camera is 13–megapixel comes with feature of taking photos and videos in HDR mode. The Secondary Camera is 5-megapixel with sensor taking wide angel group shots at arm’s length. Video is recorded at 720p HD.
The excepted Price is between 22,000/- to 24,000/- in India and to be launched in April. However there is no official price released yet.
