The film released on 2nd of October 2015 (Gandhi Jayanti), national holiday will get the benefit in earning maximum box office collection. The film features Akshay Kumar, Amy Jackson, Kay Kay Menon and Lara Dutta in the lead roles. The movie has created much of the buzz with its unique songs. One more reason the film has created buzz is it’s the most awaited movie of Akshay Kumar. Taran Adarsh review says that the movie story line and plot is all about Akshay and Amy Jackson communication and misunderstanding which leads to many problems. Raftaar S. is irresponsible and always looks for fun. He irritates the most to his father. So, one day he sent him to Goa to work with his friend. Here, he meets Amy. Akshay is not able to speak English whereas Amy is not able to understand Hindi language and still they get to fall in love with each other. To decrease the communication gap, he is joined by Lara Dutta as a translator. Lara instead of making a good communication between them and make them understand each other’s feelings, she messes up everything by portraying a wrong meaning to the lines said to one another. Later, K.K. Menon entry as a villain shocks the public as Sara the lady love is not the one, the way Raftaar thinks but his love takes him to Romania to get her back to his life. How the love story messes up and how they make up things again forms the rest of the story.

As the story line is explained to you in above paragraph, we will discuss Singh is Bling review by Taran adarsh. He says like major filmmakers thrive on making ‘masala movies’ is the same over here. The filmmaker of this film has carved a niche for commercial cinema. Pradhu Deva is one of them who focus more on commercial and masala movies with low content and more of comedy and entertainment. Will this film make in the list of super hit or will fizzle at the box office, let’s analyse. The evaluation describe that film starts with an introduction of Akshay Kumar shown as a Punjabi guy not at all good in English. Raftaar played by Akshay, village comedy scenes enjoying with friends are successful in making the audience laugh in the start. On the other side, Amy Jackson is presented as a good fighter who has the capability to protect her. After shifting to Goa, he meets each her in club where Raftaar Singh gives some suggestion for protecting herself but he fails to do so as she is already a self-protected woman. The love starts growing up from here but at the end K.K. Menon comes as a villain who wants to get married with Amy. Akshay with the action scenes and drama gets her back in his life. The assessment includes that film technical aspects are good.

Rajeev Masand review denotes that the film has correctly highlighted the comedy and romantic scenes. The premise of the movie has no requirement of music but still like all Bollywood films have songs, it is included in it. Still the songs are nice and entertaining with good lyrics, so audience enjoy rather than getting bored from them. What really works for this movie is Prabhu Deva has shown love is beyond communication gap and misunderstanding. The film is a complete entertainer having lots of laughter in it. Dudley handles cinematography; Steven Bernard does the editing work which is good as the film has many shot of foreign location Romania. The star acting performance of Akshay in comedy is amazing as always. His comic timing and comedy dialogue delivery is great. Amy does a decent job by justifying her character but needs more improvement. Lara is average and KK Menon is great as an actor.

Anupama Chopra review says Raftaar Singh is character of a normal guy who believes in not speaking, listening and seeing anything wrong. The music and album composed by 5 directors is managed to impress audience. Akshay character in movie completely depicts a Punjabi guy character. Akshay stunts scenes like walking with Tiger etc. finds very interesting to the audience. The surprise and unexpected entry of Amy Jackson is amazing as the way she did the action sequences are amazing. The public response on the movie tracks like Tung Tung Baje, Mahi Aaja, Singh and Kaur, ,Dil Kare Chu Che and Cinema Dekhe Mamma is very interesting and even audience enjoy the music of these songs seating on the cinema seats. The movie direction, editing and screen play are able to hold the audience in the first half but after all the comedy scenes audience looks uninteresting in the second half.

Final Verdict: If you don’t expect much and want to enjoy comedy without much needed sense, then go fir this movie.
