Shandar movie review speaks that it’s a bizarre film form the unexpected director who gives such a mind blowing film like Queen in previous year. Shandar has fun story plot with a lot of spoof and entertainment. Vikas Bahl is given generous two out of the total 5 rating. The destination wedding is said to have a quirky script which is not able to impress the critics at all. Even the audience response is mixed with pessimist and optimist feedback. The writers have smartly created the climax which is found to be more interesting than the story but it lacks as the climax is predictable by the audience. Some critics also give analysis saying that Shandaar is all about fun and frothy in abundant which push the movie forward.
The film is said to have a feel of fairy tale which is executed with modern technology of animations as well as VFX. This film will leave you with smile while coming out of theatres even after so many loop holes. It has larger than life characters which add a bit dash of Cinderella. The film is said to reinvent fairy tales but owns nothing in the last.
It is definitely different from the other Bollywood film and has something unique but still it’s far from being brilliant. Many of the film scenes are seen dropping down from the flow and are not able to whip out something during the uninteresting story plot.
The highlight of the film is its songs and effortless performance with great lead actor’s chemistry. The film has Pankaj Kapur, Diljit Dosanjh, Shibani Dandekar, Sanjay Kapoor, Anjana Sukhani, Niyati Shah, Sanah Kapoor as Isha, Sushma Seth and Karan Johar in supporting main roles.
Finally, we conclude that Shandar will give you what you want form this 3rd week of October weekend for Shahid and Alia fans but film was not able to impress critics.
