Having dropped in the previous two Test series, Jadeja made a comeback into the Indian team for the first two Tests against South Africa. As there are 4 Tests matches of India and South Africa. Virat Kholi will get a question of last 2 matches where Jadeja is not playing in the game.

How Ravindra got a chance in International Team

After making two triple hundreds for Saurashtra against Surat city, Gujarat and Railways in Rajkot, he made a chance to play in Indian international team.

Selection committee reason for selecting Ravindra Jadeja

The chairman of Selection committee Mr. Sandeep Patil said that “The nature of the pitches on offer for the Tests recommended for Jadeja’s selection”. Sandeep Patil also said, “We have selected our bowling attack keeping in the mind the kind of pitches we are supposed to play”. Venues are, Mohali and Bangalore for the First Two Tests, which usually have something foe seamers, but with the ban of Ishant Sharma for First match. Indian’s are clearly for their goal to bang with the spinners against S.Africa.

“I have been concerned about the matches that we lost and I know nobody is happy that we lost the game which we should have won. We have taken a look about that in which we should take care and the batting order too. The team management announced that the captain will give a good thought to it”, the chairman S. Patil said.

Ravindra previous match performance records

Having been dropped from the previous 2 Test matches, Jadeja made a comeback into the team for the first two Tests against SA, again he is selected and substituted on the basis of his Ranji Trophy performers. He has taken 24 wickets in the Ranji matches this season at Rajkot.

He is all-rounder and picked for primarily for his left-arm spin and has great chances to make good impact in test matches with leg spinner Amit Mishra and off-spinner R Ashwin. Finally, he made it again and swapped Harbhajan Singh from the Indian international team.
