Prem Ratan Dhan Payo review by Taran Adarsh, Rajeev Masand, Komal Nahta, Anupama Chopra, KRK on an average has given a positive review with rating and has received great response from the audience. After the story evaluation it is said that the plot is similar to “Prince and Pauper”.
According to Taran Adarsh, Salman Khan is seen playing double role of a King and on the other side of a common man. “PRDP story involves a role of character King who handles the Kingdom has desire to live a normal life away from this Kingdom whereas his stepbrother played by Neil Nitin Mukesh desire to snatch and take the King throne for him”. The twist comes when the King exchanges himself with a common man who looks same like him. On the other side, you will get to see Sonam Kapoor playing a role of Princess named Maithili who loves Salman. The film examination states that Salman plays a typical role of Prem in it. The other supporting characters of the film give superlative performances. Overall Assessment states that actors have delivered fantastic performances.
PRDP produced and made in a whooping budget of Rs 80 crore is the fourth collaboration of duo actor-director Salman and Sooraj Barjatya. Coming till the interval point it is brilliant and the director is flawless in bringing the simplicity of the family drama.
The performance of acting is received 4/5 star rating. PRDP create magnificence in Barjatya style with flowers and colourful scenes. Prem character is back after decade increases the audience excitement which led the film to have great warm response on the first day morning show.
Sonam Kapoor is seen giving a normal performance as a Princess. Salman and Sonam are seen charming and the chemistry between the lead is more than average. The occupancy of film is said to be 80% according to official news with releasing around more than 4500 in India cinema theatres and 800 in overseas market
PRDP is said to be a complete family Drama which will create history releasing on 4 days of Diwali. The good project proves to be beneficial for the film as Barjatya proves to create and bring the emotional vulnerable side of Salman. The film advocates Indian values and the concept are explored really well on the 70mm screen. The weakness of the flick is seen in melodramatic sequences.
Coming on to the technical analysis the editing is superbly done by Sanjay Sankla whereas the story is written by director himself. The grand set, amazing cinematography makes the scenes look huge and massive. Actor dialogue delivery is good especially Anumpam Kher and Salman Khan. The focus word in line makes every line of the film meaningful and they are able to give right meaning to the audience.
You will get to see Neil Nitin Mukesh character in a negative role. Anupam Kher is also part of the movie.

PRDP Review by Taran Adarsh “PRDP explores emotional vulnerable side, gripping story and is up to the mark of expectation. The family drama touches reality with some commercial elements. It delivers the plot honestly, actor character portray is brilliant specially Swara Bhaskar, Anupam, Salman and Deepak. Romantic sequences should not be missed as they are the most interesting part of film”.
PRDP review by Rajeev Masand “Look reminiscent of 90’s era, pious start of PRDP. People are not stopping whistling and appraising Salman with a grand entry. PRDP is Entertaining, Sooraj elements in film, create bond with audience and the film subject is seen focusing on moral values. Overall it’s a good entertainer with some loop holes in second half but still the flaws are kept aside because of such interesting and energetic performances”.
Anupama Chopra review on PRDP “Nuclear family for the first time in Barjatya film, romantic scenes not missable, focusing on respecting every relationship. Bring out the purity and simplicity out of family drama with Double Dhamaka”.

PRDP receives a rating of 3.5 stars with outstanding show all over India and International market. The film is given such ranking of 3.5 stars for its pure and simple story. Also, the PRDP score 3.5 star because of the amazing and pure character of Salman in film. This is all about the evaluation with giving 3.5 grade out of 5 star rating.
