Dum laga ke haisha is the next movie after Hawaizaada of Ayushman Khurrana which is receiving positive and commendable reviews with 2.5 to 3 star rating out of 5. After the trailer, the public response has mix reactions even including negative marks but if we talk about the first poster and trailer of film it is really different according to Ayushmann Khurrana original image. Ayushmann is playing a character of Prem Prakash Tiwari who is simple and hate studying, loves listening Kumar Sanu music and is shown his big fan. He is forced to get married from his family to a girl who is very fat Sandhya weight 85 kilo. She is a teacher in school and have a dream to get married with someone thats the only motive n her life. She doesn’t look beautiful and then too Prem needs to live with her. She tries all tricks to make him fall in love with her but doesn’t work. Later on, there is a competition arranged every year in village, Haridwar. The competition is about lifting your partner on shoulders and running till the finish line. Here, Ayushmann parents force him to be part of this contest so he needs to play it. Al last, he wins the contest and fall in love with her.
The film is made by the writer of film Bheja Dry who has directed this flick. The film is under the Yash Raj banners directed by Sharat Katariya. The lead actress Bhumi Padnekar is playing as Sandhya in the film along with Khurrana. You will even get to see Kumar Sanu, Indian bollywood singer in a special appearance. Even the songs like Dard Karaara, Tu, Sunder Susheel, Moh Moh ke Dhaage Prem’s theme are liked by the audience with gaining success. The music gives the feel of 90’s tunes specially dard kaararaa. This is a tribute to the 1990’s era of films. Even Anu malik has given music to some tracks of flick.
