Forwarding you Bhaag Johnny review by Taran Adarsh, Rajeev Masand along with Anupama Chopra who has been giving reviews for all Bollywood films since many years. The film has created a good buzz in the town with its trailer launch. The day has arrived where the film hits the theatres on 25th of September 2015. After we have another look on the movie, we get to know that it is about Janardhan Arora played by Kunal Khemu who is forced to live two lives because of falling in some critical problem. Kunal Khemu is back on the silver screen after a long time and is said to be back in the bollywood industry with this thriller movie made under the direction of Shivam Nair. Taran adarsh review describes that the movie has lots of twist and Kunal Khemu at a particular situation is pressurised to choose a path where he can save his own life and even his girlfriend. He is given two ways and if he either chooses one way, the other will also make him fall in a bad situation. So, all he needs to do is adopt both the way by playing two characters with a single soul. Tanya played by Zoa Morani is the love of his life and he even needs to save her life along with himself.
Taran adarsh re-evaluation speaks that Janardhan Arora justified by Kunal is ordered to kill his girl friend Tanya to escape from the situation he falls in. He is trapped in a fraud case and so he needs to kill Tanya to save his own life and preventing to be caught in jail. Now, he is unable to kill his love and gets frustrated with himself. Here, he is given offer to play to live two lives. The first one includes him to kill her and escapes from the situation and another takes him to run away along with Tanya and find the truth of the trapped fraud case. The rest of the story depends on the circumstance lead by him in both the lives. “The movie includes lot of twist which grip the audience attention till the last moment and is fun to watch it as it keeps you surprising till the climax. The strategy adopted in the film to escape him from the trapped situation founds to be interesting”.
Rajeev Masand review includes the same lines said by Taran. He also adds that the technical aspects which flows the film till the ends are commercially good. The cinematography is good which depicts the situation atmosphere along with the fine editing work. The different songs in the film composed and sung by Honey Singh, Mithoon, Ankit Tiwari and Devi Sri Prasad enhances the interest of audience in the film at cinema hall. The songs cheers and grasp the attention of audience as the lyrics and music entertains the viewers to a very great extent. After check up on all sections, it is a nice movie for Kunal to have a comeback with giving good entertainment for public.
Anupama Chopra review speaks more about the story plot and acting performance which makes the move beautiful and impressive. The direction done by Shivam Nair would have been more interesting after the first half which includes many twists. The actors acting performance is and varies at different situation. The re-evaluation for the three of them is they are able to justify their character around 80%. If the movie could have been edited in a way where it would look little more fast then it could have received around 3.5 star rating. But still it has good script, great dialogue delivery, twisting screen play and smart direction that will take this film ahead of the movies running on cinema theatres.
Here we end up with the reassess of the whole film by re-examining from script part till the dialogue and then to editing section.
